About Me
I'm Ayeisha Lhaine Ejar — a sixth-year student at New Cross College, Dublin, with my sights firmly set on RCSI School of Medicine. I combine a patient-focused, empathetic attitude with the intense resilience proven by a major bilateral surgical recovery.
A two-time Leinster Debating quarterfinalist and former School Bank Manager, I thrive in high-responsibility environments that demand both intellectual sharpness and emotional intelligence. My commitment to academic excellence is paired with a genuine drive to make a difference in clinical environments.
I am committed to collaborative research, continuous learning, and bringing positive energy to every room I enter — including the wards of the future.
Personal Resilience
In 2024–2025 I underwent bilateral ACL and meniscus reconstruction — a significant surgical journey that profoundly shaped my discipline, understanding of patient care, and determination. Experiencing healthcare from the patient's perspective reinforced exactly why I want to pursue medicine, and gave me a resilience that no classroom could.
